Who We are
our impact

Greetings from our Chapter president
Dear Visitors,
I want to take the time to personally welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit our website!
As I enter my seventh year as President of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Omega Chi Zeta Chapter, I notice that our Chapter has never been more relevant and important for servicing women, men, seniors, and children in the New River Valley than now. I’ve come to think of the Omega Chi Zeta Chapter as the “Go to Chapter” in the New River Valley for helping out and providing assistance in our area schools, senior facilities, and assistance with community programs. We continue to uphold our Founders’ vision, setting ourselves apart from other organizations as a whole. Our organization is built on the ideals of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood.
The changes around us-whether social, political, economic, or otherwise- allow Omega Chi Zeta to promote the Power of S.H.E. (Social, Health, and Economic) Justice for all people in the New River Valley communities we serve. We aim to advocate, brainstorm, give back to our communities, meet, network, and socialize with Zetas, our Amicae friends, Youth Auxiliaries, and Zeta Male Network in the Commonwealth of Virginia and around the world through various platforms. We have been able to face new opportunities and challenges in our communities head-on with the support of each other.
I’m proud of our Chapter’s successes over the last 10 years, as we have been able to partner with organizations such as the American Diabetes Association to promote education around Diabetes, NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) in the promotion of education and support of mental illness, provide support to children and teachers in our communities during our Adopt a School Program with programming around Anti-Bullying, Autism Awareness, book donations to increase literacy and community service activities in a nursing home and seniors associated with the T. G. Howard Center for our Eldercare Initiative to name a few. In the year ahead, we will continue to focus on the needs of our seniors, youth, and their families in the New River Valley.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to visit our website. I hope that it has given you more insight into what we have going on in the Omega Chi Zeta Chapter. We will continue to serve the people we encounter in our communities in any and all ways that we can to make an impactful and everlasting impression to improve and/or sustain their overall growth mentally, socially, physically, and economically.
Again, I want to thank you for visiting and please come back again!
